Hey!

I'm Zhengyi

My name is Zhengyi Cao. I'm a student of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and now I'm pursuing the bachelor's degree in Communication Engineering .

My fascination with technology had driven me to study communication engineering in college. However, recently, the closer look of technology has enabled me to recognize my own mission: I want to to apply technologies in people’s lives and make them have more relaxed, productive and positive relationships with their environments.

Now I am applying for a master degree in the area of Human-Computer Interaction to equip me with necessary tools to achieve my goal, to make technology a better friend.

I'm a book acholic. Growing up with my grandparents, their rich book collection was the source of my knowledge. As Bacon's quotation, "Histories make men wise; poets, witty; the mathematics, subtile; natural philosophy, deep; moral, grave; logic and rhetoric, able to contend", reading laid the foundation of my imagination and critical thinking. For now I read about 50 books per year.

Though I appreciate all genres of music, I am a super fan of Jazz, always touched by the works of Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Bill Evans and other masters in the Jazz era. Jazz is something hard to define, but generally I seek power from its youthful rhythms and tones, where you can feel all kinds of emotions simultaneously. It is a store managed by creativity, offering spirits to customers in the name of coffee.

When the snowflakes fall

I wish you love
